Today in the mail I received my parents’ yearly birthday card.
As requested this year (and every year since my youth), the card is hand-made by my mother.
There was a time where she felt intimidated by this request but over the last number of birthdays, I’ve been mailed the most amazing artistic wonders.
I have kept them all since the first year she caved to my request.
