Today I hit the jackpot. On the stretch of Queen between Jarvis and River were over one hundred photographs ranging in date from the mid-90’s to the mid-2000’s. Some friendly folks helped me collect the photos as they blew about. Some asked if the photos were mine. Some recognised faces but none were certain. One man, James, told me a woman had tossed the photos earlier that hour from the window of a streetcar as it rolled by.
For years I have been collecting photos of strangers. Only in the last few months have I gotten creative; I began framing them as Missing Persons Found and even showed MPF as part of a photography exhibit at my workplace gallery.
Discovering this bounty seems adequate karmic return for Scamp’s nefarious abduction.
