I am so humbled and lucky!
Tuesday:
LOVE. If you build it they will come.
Wednesday:
Post-Black Rock City 50K. My first ultramarathon & 10th marathon. ESC break enroute to the Unicorn Stampede. This hat gets a lot of wear in the USA.
Thursday:
The nights were frenetic, delicious. No photo I took of them does them justice.
Friday:
I sobbed uncontrollably at the Embrace burn. Love is so rare, so potent, and is often sadly fleeting. Not only 70,000 people but billions have felt the flame and burn of love. The fact that this is a universal experience was very powerful.
Saturday:
Sunday:
Without the Man as an orientation reference, it was very hard to find my way around. Everyone was experiencing this!
That night, the Temple burned. Along with it, thousands of wishes were released into the atmosphere around us. At the structure’s last collapse, everyone clapped in standing ovation at the festival’s finale.
That night was our Exodus.
Monday:
The Great Decompression Chamber 1: Sands, Reno
My Burn was mostly a solo experience because of this one and his talents which took him on a whirlwind playa adventure all his own. XO.
Tuesday:
The Great Decompression Chamber 2: Grand Sierra, Reno
Fellow Canadians S & B got married at the Temple and this was the beginning of their honeymoon. Brilliant!
Wednesday:
T Dot Island. Another (temporary) home.
Today:
Selfies are for the tired, dust-free alone.
