Mary McCormick Recreation Centre pool is often used as a therapy pool and therefore is kept very warm. I thought about the Champs-Elysees policeman.

I was grateful for the awareness of momentum. I thought of the Island and open-water swimming. The upcoming triathlon really started to feel real here – and most importantly: exciting – at beautiful Douglas Snow Aquatic Centre/Mel Lastman Square.
