Dense

I don’t ever recall posting about Hong Kong. Have I?
It will soon be 7 years since my visit but the memories remain fresh. I have said it more than once: if I could live anywhere other than Toronto, I would like to live in Hong Kong.

Perhaps because Mong Kok has the highest population density on the planet:

This one’s a little blurry but shows a good example of what was once the Walled City. These buildings were neighbours to the erstwhile enclave. The trees below are now part of the Walled City Park.

One of the most memorable art shows I’ve been to remains 2007’s Greg Girard‘s Phantom Shanghai.

My Cabbagetown hood and its proximity to St. James Town, Canada’s most densely populated community, is really no comparison.
