In my mind at that exact moment, it’s hard to know what was going on.
Lots of non-running activities have caught my primary focus over the last year and as such, running has been less about competition (I’m fast!) and more about hobby. At events like CTR, in ridiculous socks, while running uphill into a strong headwind, with feet that appear to barely lift from the ground (due to what appear to be atrophied legs?)… there is always room for a smile. Running – in any amount – will never make me a happiness impostor.
