Inhumane
Needs of
Art Departments
I will be working late on my favourite number-day of the year, 721.

Steve‘s, Westmount, Montreal
It’s sort of like I’m there.

Introspection

Today I slept on a public bench in the sun. Then I went to the garden.

I said, are you sure you should do that?
He said, well as a matter of fact…
I’ll put it on my calendar, consider it booked.
And ever since then
We’ve celebrated when
It pops up yearly on Microsoft Outlook
Happy Gary O’Brien Day!

Day:
Inconsolable.
Nefarious
Abduction!
I came home to find my bike was stolen.
I do not have many possessions I like more than my bike.
I am, at the moment, inconsolable.
I took the below photo about 10 days ago. I liked that beside my bike was locked a totally brash sticker’d-up clunky purple wonder.
It made me think of the reality that often we simply cannot choose who we interact with. There are so many who might ruffle our feathers and all we can do is play the cards we’re dealt.
