I need to observe my thoughts as just thoughts and not let them take over. If I look at things objectively, things are pretty good relative to how bad they could be. Thoughts are just clouds passing by, they need to be observed and let go.
It’s good to experience their passing. It’s cathartic and empowering but it’s a practice and like all practices it needs to be continually done. I have to do the work! We all have to do the work. -P
